AMBITIONS

The area has seen significant redevelopment and investment in recent years as part of the Outernet project.

It is the aim of Farsight Collective to bring back, credible grassroots and forward-thinking music programming to this culturally historic part of London. We will achieve this with a multi-use music/art/events space that emphasises inclusivity, accessabiltiy and which is designed around collaboration with all stakeholders and communities.

We firmly believe that our plan is the essential missing piece in the jigsaw; a key component in Denmark Street’s considerable battle to remain truly culturally relevant.

At ground level,  we’ve created a distinctive and compelling - yet highly flexible - environment for events, exhibitions, installations and the visual arts, ‘Meanwhile On Flitcroft Street’ will become one of London’s most exciting mixed use events spaces.

A semi-permanent exhibition celebrating the art, culture and heritage of the area will make sure the space never goes ‘dark’.

This can be quickly and definitively removed when necessary to create a tabula rasa for events by artists, brands, local orgs and private hire clients when required.

An additional upstairs private dining suite / lounge, professional level catering prep facilities and a ‘sun trap’ courtyard will add an extra dimension to this stunning location.

2024 bookings so far include art shows by legendary musician Marc Almond and local artists Jane Palm Gold and Francesca Alaimo, the launch event for Irvine Welsh’s next book, an event with Beatport for Pride month that celebrates London’s LGBTQ club culture heritage and various ‘pop-up’ retail and art events.

Below ground: a stunning new 4-500 capacity subterranean music venue in the double height basement will showcase an extensive, carefully curated program ranging from established names to emerging talent, designed from scratch as a ‘grassroots music venue’ as defined by the Mayor of London’s Music Venues Rescue Plan of October 2015.

FARSIGHT GALLERY arts and culture program  list more highlights inc Museum of Youth Culture, Matt Smith, Les Cousins retrospective, Jane Palm Gold Deck Jarman drawings, Evan Dando Paintings and Drawings, St Martin's school of art graduates show, HOSB homeless artists show.
